The quarterfinals lineup climaxed with an epic show as St Noa Secondary School Zzana humbled Boni Consil Girls Vocational in the day’s biggest victory.
St Noa Girls secured a 7-0 victory against Boni Consil in the quarterfinal encounter at Standard High School, Ndejje Campus on Wednesday.
Sylvia Kabene (hattrick), Summayah Nalumu (brace), Nancy Mandera and Mackline Niwaninda’s own goal gave the Zanna-based school a sweet victory.
Niwaninda slotted the ball into her net in the 12th minute as she tried to clear away Kabene’s effort from close range.
Later on, Nalumu scored twice on the bounce in the 24th and 34th minute to ensure that St Noa went into the break with a 3-0 lead.
Minutes into the second half, Kabene opened her tally with a delightful strike before Mandera extended St Noa’s lead to five.
Kabene concluded the day’s assignment with two more goals as St Noa registered a well-deserved 7-0 victory.
St Noa will return to action on Thursday as they take on Kawempe Muslim in the semifinals of the ongoing tournament.
To reach this stage, Kawempe Muslim eliminated Uganda Martyrs High School in a 5-4 spot kicks victory after firing blanks in normal time.
In the other quarterfinal encounter, Rines SS fought from a goal down to edge Sheema Girls 2-1 in a close contest.
