Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC has beefed up their technical bench with Yasin Mugabi as a second goalkeeping coach.
Mugabi joins the Lugogo-based side on a three-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official website on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
“Yasin Mugabi, a former KCCA FC player, has penned a three-year contract with the club and joins the goalkeeping department as a coach,” the statement partly reads.
According to the club, Mugabi will work with goalkeepers’ coach Moses Oloya to groom and develop the goalkeepers at the club.
Mugabi previously played for KCCA FC in the 2014-15 season before he moved on to a number of clubs in Uganda and Zambia.
Currently, KCCA has three licensed goalkeepers, including Anthony Emojong Okiramu, Mutwalibi Mugolofa, and youngster Humphrey Oyirwoth.
