Kitara has announced an international friendly against Kenya’s Tusker FC on Thursday, August 8, at Masindi Municipality Stadium.
Tusker finished second on the Kenya Premier League log in the just concluded 2023/24 campaign.
Kitara will use the game to build up for their CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Libya’s Al Hilal SC Benghazi slated for Friday, August 16.
It will be Kitara’s second international trial game after securing a 2-0 victory against Ethiopia’s Mechal SC at Addis Ababa Stadium in Ethiopia.
Before the game, Kitara will present their Uganda Cup trophy to the fans throughout Masindi as early as noon.
However, Kitara will first play the second leg of the FUFA Super 8 tournament against KCCA tomorrow at MTN Omondi Stadium.
Brian Ssenyondo’s charges go into the game with a 1-0 advantage, thanks to Denis Omedi’s first-half strike.
