Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club has announced former Ivan Sserubiri as the latest addition in the ongoing transfer window.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official website on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
“Kitara FC can confirm the addition of midfielder Ivan Sserubiri,” the statement partly reads.
Sserubiri joins Kitara FC as a free agent following his exit from the relegated Gaddafi FC, which was recently relegated to the FUFA Big League.
The lanky midfielder revealed that his target is to become a better player than he was in the previous season.
“I’m extremely excited that Kitara Football Club is my new home. I see the squad is full of talented and ambitious players whom I’m looking forward to working with and adding to the club’s success. I also want to be a better player than I was in the past season. Let’s see how things go,” he said.
