Uganda Premier League side KCCA has organised a football clinic that kicked off on Monday, August 26, 2023, at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The football clinic has welcomed both boys and girls aged three years to 17 as the club seeks to nurture young talents.
Aisha Muhozi, CEO of KCCA, welcomed the young talents to the KCCA family as they embarked on grooming their skills as early as possible.
“We are happy to host the first of kind, holiday clinic for KCCA FC, and we are looking forward to a great experience with the young ones,” Muhozi stated.
“We want to be part of the youngsters’ journey as they pursue a football career. The football clinic is not only focusing on playing football but also emphasising cooperation and discipline,” she concluded.
One of the football clinic coaches, Habib Kavuma, shared that the young ones were taken through some essential techniques on day one.
“Day 1 of the clinic was a good one. As coaches, we focused on imparting essential techniques such as passing, dribbling, and ball control,” he said.
“We have a well laid out programme that will have participants do fitness drills to improve their stamina, speed, and agility,” he added.
The football clinic will run until Friday, August 30.
