FUFA Women Super League side Kampala Queens has announced a three-lady team as the new leadership ahead of the upcoming season.
Kampala Queens have confirmed Shamirah Nalugya as the team’s first captain replacing goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro.
Nakaziro was appointed the club captain in the previous campaign to replace long term serving Zaina Namuleme.
This comes after goalkeeper Nakaziro has declined a chance to sign a new contract at the club.
Still about the new leadership, defender Jamila Nabulime and Zaina Nandede will be assistant and second assistant respectively.
The Queens of Soccer will kick start the FUFA Women Super League on Friday, September 27 against Wakiso Giants WFC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
