Kampala Queens will take on She Corporates in the quarterfinals of the FUFA Women Cup at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The two sides will be renewing their rivalry since She Corporates were demoted to play in the FUFA Elite League.
After failing to defend the FUFA Women’s Super League, Kampala Queens will now switch attention to the Women’s Cup thus seeking redemption.
Kampala Queens head coach, Ayiekoh Lukula is confident ahead of the clash against his former bosses.
“We have worked hard to regain our mental fitness and I have seen a positive display in our last training session,” the gaffer stated.
“We are ready for the challenge. It’s a do-or-die situation whenever we meet She Corporates but we are ready for the fight,” he added.
“I am contented with the team’s preparation and determination and although it will not be easy we are ready to put out our best.”
“After failing to win the League, we have learnt our mistakes and we are determined to save the campaign by fighting for the Women’s Cup,” he concluded.
