Express secured a 2-0 victory against UPDF in the Uganda Premier League at Bombo Barracks Grounds on Monday.
Conrad Ssenjogera and Samuel Ssenyonjo were on the target as Express secured maximum points on the road.
Despite the early attacks from either side the first stanza ended goalless as the assignment was sent to the second half.
Ssenjogera broke the deadlock in the 54th minute. The forward was set up by Ssenyonjo who was not selfish in the dangerous area.
In the 65th minute, Christopher Tebandeke tripped Geofrey Gaganga and the referee awarded the visitors a penalty.
Ssenyonjo stepped up to the occasion and smartly slotted the ball into the back of the net.
The victory sends Express to third position with 25 points while UPDF are 11th with 17 points in 15 games.
