Uganda Cup winners Kitara have confirmed a strong travelling contingent to Libya ahead of their maiden game in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The contingent is made up of 30 people (20 players and 10 officials). The Royals set off at Entebbe International Airport via Egypt Air.

They are expected to have a stop in Cairo before they later continue to Lybia, where they will set lock horns with Al Hilal Beghanzi on Friday, August 16.

Kitara’s travelling list has two goalkeepers; Farouk Yawe and Chrispus Kusiima, who will be tasked to guard the goal area.

The list also bears some of Kitara’s new signings Fred Amaku, David Ndihabwe, Titus Ssematimba, Marvin Nyanzi, and Ronald Otti.

Just like it was communicated earlier, Kitara will play both games (home and away) in Libya at the home of Al Hilal.

Kitara missed on the home advantage after failing to secure Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, or St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
