Uganda Premier League side Kitara will be out to overturn their deficit against Libya’s Al Hilal Beghanzi in the CAF Confederation Cup at Martyrs of Benina Stadium.

Kitara lost 3-2 to Al Hilal, and the two sides will play the second leg on Friday evening at the same ground this time as the visiting team.

Kitara, head coach, believes his charges are no longer nervous as he expects them to handle the game better than they did in the first stanza.

“I think the boys were a bit nervous in the first leg, but I am confident that as a team, we shall handle the second leg better. So I think we can put up the desired performance,” he revealed.

“I know it’s not going to be very easy because it’s also my first time to coach at this stage. The football here is quite different from what we play back home, but the experience is worth it,” he added.

Kitara will lack the services of custodian Crispus Kusiima, who was sent off in the first leg after handling the ball outside the box.

This leaves the Royals with only one option of using Farouk Yawe in today’s encounter, which will be a bit tricky.

The Royal need a two goal margin victory if they are to qualify to the next round where they are meant to take on Egypt’s Al Masry.
