Maroons registered a well-deserved 3-0 victory against Mbarara City in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Kakyeka Stadium on Thursday.
Baden Mujahid Ogama (brace) and Godwin Kitagenda were on target as the Prison Wardens secured maximum points.
Ogama fired Maroons ahead in the third minute after firing home Dennis Rukundo’s delivery on the right flank.
The hosts tried to restore parity through Seri Arigumaho and Paul Busolo but were not sharp enough in the final third.
Ogama doubled Maroons’ lead in the 52nd minute with a simple finish thanks to Rukundo’s well weighted cross.
Kitagenda came off the bench to score Maroons’ third goal to seal the assignment for the day.
The victory takes Maroons to the sixth with 16 points while Mbarara City lies 11th with 12 points after playing 11 games.
